NEA's Annual meeting is a five-day period of time that includes the Representative Assembly. The first days of the Annual Meeting are devoted to delegate registration and a wide range of Pre-RA meetings, and conferences. The NEA RA takes place during the final four days of the Annual Meeting.

New Jersey sends between 500 and 600 delegates to the NEA RA, which this year will be held in Denver, CO from July 3 - 7. Delegates are expected to arrive in Denver on July 2 and depart on July 8.
